In my practice, I value:

Your individual journey

I believe in taking my time to get to know my patients rather than just providing quick prescriptions for their skin. I actively work with my patients and value their role in healing as well as respecting their knowledge of their own bodies.

Empowering you with knowledge

I believe every person deserves to feel confident, beautiful, and loved. It is important to me that my patients leave our visits feeling empowered with the knowledge and tools to heal.

A holistic approach for you

I believe in a holistic approach that addresses the connection between my patient’s whole being- mind, body, spirit, and soul, and how nurturing each of these areas can heal the greater whole.

Meet Dr. Ashley Dumont

I started my practice to help people like you because I was someone like you.

I struggled with acne for years that never resolved with the many rounds of antibiotics I underwent. As my skin worsened, so did my confidence as I projected my negative self-image. I knew there had to be a better path, which fortunately led me to naturopathic medicine. It wasn’t until I began to understand and implement the connection between nutrition and my skin’s health that I actually began to heal and truly love myself in my own skin.

I practice naturopathic medicine because I don’t want you to struggle like I did.

I am here to support you and be a constant reminder that you can heal. My goal is to help you heal not only your skin, but your mind-body relationship to create a sense of confidence and self-love that will carry you through every aspect of your life.

More Than Medicine

I am a New England Prep born and raised. I may be biased, but we are blessed to live in the most beautiful area in the country.

Although I have lived in many other places, New England is, and always will be home. The New England coast is my happy place, where I spent almost every weekend with my grandmother and family growing up, where I attended my undergraduate education, where my husband and I tied the knot, and where I have come home to start my own family. You can find me spending the day along the coast, breathing in the salty ocean air with my husband and our 7lb chihuahua, Winnie, and connecting with Mother Nature in the most serene atmosphere.

My Education and Experience

For my undergraduate education, I attended the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine and received my Bachelors of Science in Medical Biology and Minor in Sociology.

I then attended medical school at the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon where I received my Nutritional IV Therapy training and worked as a primary intern mostly on Dermatology and Minor Surgery shifts. I then spent some time working alongside two Integrative Dermatologists in Sacramento, CA, but knew I was called to serve my local community at home and practice here.

Commonly Asked Questions

Naturopathic doctors are trained medical doctors that undergo 4 years of graduate training at an accredited program and require an undergraduate degree and courses in the health sciences. The coursework for naturopathic doctors covers anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, and organ-system based medicine along with pharmacology, herbal medicine, lifestyle medicine, IV nutrient therapy, vitamin injections, and more. Naturopathic doctors are trained clinically as Primary Care Physicians, but can, and often do, practice within a particular niche area of medicine. Our area of focus includes holistic skin health, dermatology, digestive, hormone balance, anti-aging, weight loss, and overall wellness. For state licensure, naturopathic doctors have to take and pass two licensing exams as well as up to 4 additional elective exams depending on the state’s requirements.

Although we are trained as Primary Care Doctors, I prefer to work adjunctively with a patient’s primary care doctor. I ask all of my patients to have established care with a primary care doctor to undergo yearly health check-ups and other important health maintenance screenings and services.

I do not take insurance which allows me to treat my patients holistically with effective natural medicine modalities, and provide access to a broader range of patients.

Although our practice name is holistic skin + wellness, (and love treating acne, eczema, and other skin concerns, naturally) we treat way more than the skin! Some common health concerns we treat include hair loss and hair thinning, digestive and gut health issues like irritable bowel syndrome, SIBO, gut yeast overgrowth, candida, gas, bloating, constipation, diarrhea, fertility support, anti-aging, hormone imbalances like PCOS and post-menopausal symptoms like hot flashes and weight gain, mensural cycle irregularities, sleep disturbances, insomnia, fatigue, and more! Absolutely, I love treating kiddos! Commonly, I see rashes like eczema, food sensitivities, and gut issues like diarrhea in my pediatric patients. I recommend that my patients have a Pediatrician as part of their healthcare team when working with me as I am not a Primary Care Provider. I see and treat a wide range of patients from pediatrics to teenagers dealing with acne, young adults dealing with mensural cycle issues, and women who are post-menopausal seeking bioidentical hormone replacement therapy.

Yes, I do!

Meet Kathryn Levesque

Holistic Aesthetician + Reiki Practitioner

I am a licensed holistic aesthetician, reiki practitioner, and certified yin yoga teacher passionate about creating a mind-body-soul-spirit connection through self-care rituals. I have personal experience not feeling confident in my skin dealing with hormonal cystic acne and rosacea which is what inspired me to become an aesthetician.

My philosophy is to radiate positive energy into the community by creating a magical healing space for you to arrive as you are and embrace, support, and guide you on your journey.

I have experience treating various skin concerns and conditions. The holistic approach I take in the treatment room encompasses a thorough assessment of the current state of your skin combined with a detailed history and collaborative treatment plan to work together to achieve your skin goals.

I look forward to helping you heal!
